How an order reaches East Lancashire
Every order is dispatched from our warehouse in Dundee, whether it is going to Blackburn, Darwen, Accrington, Great Harwood or anywhere else in the country. There is no counter to collect from, and we do not offer collection on any order. Everything is delivered to your door.
How it travels depends on the order value. Orders under £2,000 go by insured Royal Mail Special Delivery or Parcelforce, tracked and signed for. Orders of £2,000 and over come on our own delivery trucks, Monday to Friday between 9am and 5pm, which suits a workshop or an industrial unit where someone is in during the working day.
The delivery charge is shown in the basket before you pay, so you know the full cost before checkout. If your premises are hard to find, or there is a loading bay, a gate code or a rear entrance, tell us on WhatsApp when you order.
Parts for a repair shop: stock what you fit most
A repair shop in Blackburn or Darwen sees the same jobs week after week: a laptop that has slowed to a crawl on an old hard drive, a machine that needs more memory to run Windows 11 comfortably, a customer who has lost their charger. The parts behind those jobs are few and predictable, which makes them worth holding in quantity.
Start with what you fit most. An M.2 NVMe SSD of 256GB or 512GB covers most laptop upgrades from recent years, with 2.5-inch SATA drives for older machines. In memory, 8GB and 16GB DDR4 laptop modules cover the bulk of business laptops from this era, with DDR5 for the newest. Our parts are priced per item and you can add any quantity, so you can buy ten or a hundred.
Chargers and cables come in packs of 100. The charger packs are adapters only, with no mains cables, so if you sell chargers complete, add a pack of UK power cables. Match the connector to the machines on your bench: Dell and HP each use a small and a large round pin, many Lenovo ThinkPads use a rectangular slim tip, and newer machines from all three charge over USB-C.
Lots for resellers: read the sheet for your market
A laptop lot is bought whole: one price for every unit on its spreadsheet. Lot sizes vary widely, from a handful of machines to several hundred, so one lot can be a month of stock for a small reseller or a container load for an exporter.
If you sell locally, around Blackburn, Accrington and the rest of East Lancashire, the Keyboard column matters most. Local buyers expect UK layouts, and a lot of German or Nordic keyboards will need replacement keyboards or stickers before it sells here. If you export, a non-UK layout can be exactly what your buyer wants, and we can deliver the lot straight to its destination.

Combining parts with a lot
A basket can hold a lot and parts together, and it is worth thinking about them together. If a lot lists units with no memory or no drive fitted, the parts to complete them can go in the same order, so the units can be built and sold without waiting on a second delivery.
The same goes for chargers. Most lots ship without them, and the Charger column on each spreadsheet shows which units include one. A pack of the right adapters in the same order means every machine you sell can go out complete.
An order of £2,000 or more, lot and parts together, travels on our own trucks and is delivered to your door on a weekday between 9am and 5pm.
Paying, invoices and cash flow
You pay by card at checkout, through Stripe. Your invoice is emailed straight away, with the order number and every item on it, which keeps your books straightforward.
We do not offer credit or payment terms, so plan larger purchases around your cash flow. A common approach is to buy the next lot once the previous one has mostly sold, and to top up parts more often in smaller orders.
If you are buying for export, delivery outside the UK is by quote. Send the destination on WhatsApp and we reply with a delivery price and a secure Stripe payment link. We deliver to the UAE, Europe, Africa, the US and anywhere else in the world.
When the delivery arrives
Check the delivery against the order before the driver leaves if you can: at the least, the number of boxes or pallets and the condition they are in. Then check the units against the spreadsheet: count them, spot-check grades and specifications, and power on a sample.
